Person That Grabbed Ariana Grande on the occasion of Premiere Banned from Singapore

A man from Australia who jumped past a barrier and touched Hollywood star Ariana Grande has been sent away and barred from Singapore.

Johnson Wen, twenty-six, was handed a penalty to more than a week in prison for being a public nuisance and has now been "barred from re-entering Singapore," the country's border control told local media.

The man shoved beyond security and charged at the performer and artist, who was participating in the Asian premier for the film on November 13. Co-performer Cynthia Erivo intervened to remove him from Grande.

The individual has a record of interrupting performances and star-studded occasions, including jumping on stage at a Katy Perry performance in Sydney in this summer.

The event provoked strong reactions in Singapore, with several individuals saying he of re-traumatising Grande.

The singer has discussed suffering from PTSD after a terrorist bombing at her concert in the UK city in several years ago killed over twenty people and affected hundreds.

In the legal process, the authorities learned he had attempted to intrude on the movie's debut on two occasions, according to Singaporean media.

He then made a another effort to cross the barriers. Security staff prevented him and pinned him down.

Wen later posted video clips thanking Grande for allowing his presence and said he was "at liberty."

Police took him into custody the next day and charged him with causing a disturbance, to which the man admitted guilt.

The Court Judge the magistrate was quoted by a news outlet as saying that he was looking for publicity, adding that he was mistaken to believe he would not suffer any consequences.

Grande has not addressed the incident.

Cynthia Erivo spoke about the event to NBC, saying that she "just wanted to ensure my co-star was protected."

"I think he had no intention to us danger, but you never know with such situations, and I wanted to make sure that she was fine. That was my immediate response," she commented.
