The former president's Granddaughter Receives Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Before LPGA Debut

The young golfer can count on plenty of well-known cheerleaders when she makes her LPGA debut later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, operates multiple courses worldwide and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she mentioned.

She mentioned that her grandfather, unable to come, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He essentially advised me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.

"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, making him rather occupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has played in just three tournaments recently and has the 461st position in AJGA listings.

However she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He represents the best player globally," Kai stated.

"And he's a superior individual. He suggested me to compete, have fun, adapting to the flow."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, such as second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that Kai's presence brings the sport to new audiences, specifically reaching youth audiences.

The young star maintains a massive following and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness company.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
